Land of Enchantment Romance Authors (LERA) is a chapter of Romance Writers of America (RWA) located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our mission is to support the efforts of our members in fulfilling their pursuit of a writing career in the romance genre. Our members include published and prepublished authors in many genres and subgenres: contemporary romance, historical romance, erotic romance, romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and all types of fiction containing strong romantic elements. One thing we all have in common is the desire to bring the stories stirring inside of our imaginations into the world, and to share the journey to publication with our fellow writers.

LERA Benevolence Fund

LERA has a fund to help members IN NEED to help pay annual dues, programs, and/or conferences. Nonmembers who wish to join LERA, but don’t have the funds also qualify for help to pay annual dues. For more information, and to apply, click here.
