LERA Idol returns on Saturday, April 25, 2026.  This is a FREE opportunity to have a cold read of your first two pages of an unpublished romance manuscript. Even if you don’t submit, you’ll learn a lot about evaluating storying openings alongside our judges Tamra Baumann, Susanne Dunlap, and Lenette Rodriguez.

The chapter meeting will start at 11:00am (Mountain Time) with the program scheduled to begin at 11:30am (Mountain Time) in person at Bear Canyon Senior Center in Albuquerque or online via Zoom.   The program WILL be recorded so be aware of that when submitting.

This is a very popular program! We will only be able to accept 12 entries, and once they’re assigned, the slots are filled. All entries must be submitted by midnight Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Please contact programs@leranm.com for official rules and to throw your hat into the ring.

Non-members may register for the program here: https://leranm.com/lera-monthly-meeting-payment/
