LERA members have a real treat with March’s program.  Member Barb Simmons will present Perfectly Imperfect: Writing Stellar Characters With Disabilities.  As she researched how to create authentic characters who have additional challenges, she realized the wealth of knowledge she could share with other authors. This program will help authors develop authentic characters who just happen to have disabilities.  Come learn how to make real characters who are dealing with different challenges and find love without making the disability their entire identity. 

The program will be presented on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The chapter meeting will start at 11:00am (Mountain Time) online or in-person at Bear Canyon Senior Center, 4645 Pitt Street NE, Albuquerque. The program scheduled for 11:30am (Mountain Time) and will be recorded.
