We start 2026’s programs off with a solid workshop. Our president Anna Taylor Sweringen will present The No Fuss, No Muss Short Synopsis (with thanks to Mary Buckham’s teachings) on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
Once you have written your book, it becomes time to write the short synopsis. How do you condense all those words into a short summary that makes editors and agents want to read more? Using some techniques taught by Mary Buckham, Anna will show us which words/events you must include.
This program will be offered both via Zoom and in-person at the Bear Canyon Senior Center, 4645 Pitt Street NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The LERA monthly begins at 11 am (Mountain Time) with the program to follow at 11:30 am.
