Comedy is obviously an important element of a romantic comedy, but how do you craft something so elusive and subjective? This class will explore the structures and types of comedy, reader expectations, voice, style, branding, and marketing that will help you to write and sell romantic comedies that actually make readers laugh out loud.

This will not be a funny class even though the topic is comedy. It will be about writing comedy, even if you’re not funny.

Please join on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Bear Canyon Senior Center in Albuquerque or on Zoom.  The chapter meeting will begin at 11:00am (mountain time) with the program scheduled to start at 11:30am.
