LERA Idol, one of our most popular programs, returns for our June meeting. This is your chance for a FREE cold read of the first two pages of your unpublished romance novel (any subgenre, any heat level).  The entries will be read aloud anonymously and then commented on by the three judges. This year’s judges are Tamra Baumann, Lauren Teffeau, and Lenette Rodriguez, who will listen and make comments/suggestions on your opening with the goal of making it even better.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025.  The chapter meeting will begin at 11:00am (Mountain Time) with the readings scheduled to start at 11:30am (Mountain Time).  Be forewarned that the event will be recorded.  You can attend in person at Bear Canyon Senior Center, 4645 Pitt Street NE, Albuquerque, NM.

There are only twelve spots available, so if you wish to participate, please email Louise at leraprograms@gmail.com and she will let you know how to submit.
