January 27th’s LERA meeting will be a joint program with Low Country Romance Writers (South Carolina RWA chapter). The presentation will feature Raegan Teller talking about Mindmapping. She is the author of the Enid Blackwell mystery series set in South Carolina, which blends small town intrigue, family secrets, and intriguing plots.
In Mindmapping for Authors: How to Liberate your Brain, Enhance Creativity, Improve Productivity, and (Perhaps) Banish Outlines, mystery author Raegan Teller unveils the process of using mindmapping to craft novels. This presentation includes an introduction to mindmapping and how it mirrors the way our brains work and helps organize complex plots typical in mystery writing. She details how this technique intertwines with the 3-act structure—Setup, Confrontation, and Resolution—providing a simple, clear framework for narrative development.
This meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:30am (Mountain Time) in the Bear Canyon Senior Center, 4645 Pitt Street NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Because we are doing this meeting with another chapter, the Zoom registration will be a bit different. You will need to register twice. First to attend LERA’s meeting and then again to attend the Low Country program.
